We make PR Quorum, so read this with that in mind. We have tried to write the comparison we would want to read ourselves: every price below was checked on each vendor’s own pricing or documentation page on September 27, 2026, and each tool gets a “choose it when” that we would stand behind even when the answer is not us. Plans change often; follow the links at the end before you buy.
All six tools read a pull request and post review comments on GitHub. The differences that matter in practice are narrower than the marketing suggests: who chooses the model, what unit you are billed on, how much control you get over noise, and how much surrounding workflow the product tries to own.
The short version
- CodeRabbit: the broadest review platform. Choose it when you want review, autofix, planning, linters and SAST in one product.
- GitHub Copilot code review: the most native GitHub experience. Choose it when your team already pays for Copilot and wants zero extra setup.
- Greptile: codebase-aware review billed per review credit. Choose it when you want deep repository context and can live with credit-based pricing.
- Qodo: agentic PR review with a rules system, priced per team with credit packs. Choose it for a team of up to 30 that reviews a moderate number of PRs.
- Graphite: AI review inside a stacked-PR workflow. Choose it when you want to adopt Graphite’s stacking and merge queue anyway.
- PR Quorum: a panel of specialist reviewers where you pick the model for each role and can bring your own OpenRouter key. Choose it when model control and a quiet, advisory review matter more than breadth.
CodeRabbit
CodeRabbit is the most complete platform in this list: pull-request review plus one-click fixes, agentic chat, linters and SAST, Jira and Linear integrations, and on higher plans pre-merge checks, unit-test generation and security review of every PR. Plans are per developer: Essentials at $24 per month billed annually ($30 monthly), Team at $48 ($60 monthly), Advanced at $72 billed annually, and custom Enterprise with self-hosting. Reviews are rate-limited per developer per hour (5 on Essentials, rising with the plan). Public repositories get free reviews, and there is a 14-day trial. CodeRabbit manages the model layer itself rather than letting you choose a model per review role.
GitHub Copilot code review
Copilot code review is available with Copilot Pro, Pro+, Max, Business and Enterprise, and it can be set to review a user’s pull requests or every pull request in a repository automatically. Each review consumes AI credits from the plan. GitHub states that model switching is not supported for code review, on the grounds that changing the model would compromise reliability. If your organization is already standardized on Copilot, it is the lowest-friction option; the trade-off is that the review is configured and billed as part of your coding assistant rather than as its own system.
Greptile
Greptile indexes the repository so reviews can reason about code outside the diff. Its Starter plan is free for one active developer with 50 credits a month; Pro is $30 per seat per month with 50 credits per seat and $1 per additional credit, where a base review costs 1 credit and deeper review modes cost 3 or 10. Self-hosting is an Enterprise option. The credit model is transparent, but it makes cost scale with how much you review and how deep each review goes, so check it against your pull-request volume.
Qodo
Qodo offers agentic PR review with a rules system, Git and IDE integrations and an analytics dashboard. Pro Team is $30 a month for teams of up to 30 users, plus credit packs priced at $0.012 per credit pooled across the team; Qodo’s own sizing puts 2,500 credits at roughly 18 reviews a month. There is a 14-day trial rather than a permanent free tier, and qualifying open-source projects can apply for free access. Bring-your-own-key and on-premises deployment are Enterprise features.
Graphite
Graphite’s AI review lives inside a broader workflow built around stacked pull requests and a merge queue. The Hobby plan is free with limited AI reviews, Starter is $20 per user per month billed annually with limited reviews, and Team at $40 per user per month billed annually unlocks unlimited AI reviews, review customizations and suggested fixes. It is a strong fit when you want the whole Graphite workflow; if you only want review, you are paying for tooling you may not use.
PR Quorum
PR Quorum runs a panel instead of one reviewer: correctness, security and architecture specialists review each pull request in parallel, an aggregator deduplicates their findings and drops low-confidence ones, and the result is posted as a single GitHub review. You choose the model for each reviewer role, and on paid plans you can add your own OpenRouter key so model usage is billed to your account. Reviews are always advisory COMMENT reviews; PR Quorum never blocks a merge. Configuration lives in the dashboard or in a .ai-review.yml file in the repository.
The free plan covers 2 repositories and 50 reviews a month. Paid plans are per seat: Pro at $12, Team at $25 and Max at $50 per developer per month, with 150, 300 and 750 reviews per seat respectively, and 20% off annually. The honest limits: PR Quorum does not try to be an autofix, planning or IDE product, it reviews GitHub pull requests only, and it is younger than the other tools here.
How to choose
- If you want one vendor for review plus autofix, planning and security scanning, start with CodeRabbit.
- If everyone already has Copilot and you want no new vendor, try Copilot code review first.
- If you want to choose the model per review role, or pay your model provider directly, PR Quorum is built for that; Greptile and Qodo offer it only in self-hosted or Enterprise setups.
- If your pull-request volume is spiky, compare billing units carefully: per-seat plans (CodeRabbit, Graphite, PR Quorum), per-review credits (Greptile, Qodo) and AI credits inside another subscription (Copilot) behave very differently in a busy month.
- Whatever you shortlist, run two of them side by side on the same pull requests in advisory mode and count accepted findings, not comments. Our guide to evaluating AI code review tools walks through that.
